JOB POSITION:
-10 hours per week from August 15 to June 15 of each year, including Sundays
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Work with current curriculum or one chosen by the CE committee
-Work with church school children/youth from grade preschool to grade 12
-Facilitate registration of children/youth into church school the beginning of each church school year
-Report to the CE committee
-Attend CE committee meetings
-Lead monthly church school teacher meetings
-Coordinate Christmas pageant and Children’s Day service in June of each year
-Facilitate the growth of the church school
-Contact children/youth who have not been attending church school, who had done so previously
-Be part of the communication between the CE committee and the pastor regarding church school children/youth attending part or all of church services
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum of 21 years of age
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Comply with First Church’s safety policy requirements
-Evaluations at 6 months initially, and yearly thereafter
